“just smile”, “be happy”, “be grateful”, “stay positive” It is easy to give such advice when it’s concerning other people’s emotions and lives, when you’re not the one firsthand experiencing it. In a world where social media is glamorizing everything, just because someone is constantly smiling or posting pictures of themselves, does not mean that they are genuinely happy. Mental health issues are REAL and everyone’s experience with mental health is valid. This collection was made to normalize mental health issues and bring awareness to a topic which is mostly overlooked. Always know that someone might look happy and smiling on the outside, but they might be masking their true emotions.
